Newly’s CEO continues an insight series, offering great tips about what to consider when you recruit carers.
The second tip is to know your data.
If you recruit carers in aged care or disability service, it’s important to know your data and data points and how they can work for you.
Lack of data or ineffective data re vacancy rates and types can lead to inefficient recruitment and retention. If your data is reliable and you can interpret what it’s telling you, information can help identify problems and highlight opportunities.
With CV and interview, you have a predictiveness capability in screening of between 0.34 to.40 for a successful recruitment outcome.
Are you happy to get it right less than half the time?
By increasing the data points you analyse and recruiting for attitude and aptitude, you can increase your successful recruitment predictiveness to over 0.7 or 70%.
